A long time ago on an account far, far away, :icond-fenderproductions: and I had this crazy idea: What if we could make CWC's "Sonichu" better? Three years later we never got much closer...but we did make some interesting original content, some of which I decided to dig up, refurbish and display for all to see. Enjoy!

Sonichu's Family:

Sonichu - Champion of CWCville and high-ranking commander within the city's private military, Sonichu is a troubled hero with a heavy conscience. A youthful exterior conceals a history of bloodshed...and an even more mysterious upbringing. Recently discharged from state service, he now seeks to re-connect with his loved ones and discover the reality behind their creation, while attempting to come to terms with a world that may very well be falling apart around him.

Rosechu - Sonichu's emotionally-stunted spouse. Raised by one of Christian's old classmates, Rosechu lived a sheltered existence in suburbia before settling down with her "sweetbolt." Her home life has since been everything but spectacular - Three kids, two affairs and a substance abuse problem later Rosechu has grown extremely detached from her family, and instead prefers to spend her time at one of the Shopping Center's many department stores.

Cerah Rosey - The family doormat. Cerah is the eldest of Rosechu's children and, as such, neglected in favor of her younger, "prettier" sister. She is often taken advantage of for her maturity and left with a long list of household chores in her mother's absence. Day-to-day operations include vacuuming, mopping, "cleaning up" after her brother and giving her Granny Snorlax sponge baths.

Christine Rosey - The shiny princess- or so they would have you believe. In truth, Christine is the product of a long-time romantic affair between Rosechu and Magi-Chan. Pampered and coddled by her mother and purported father, Christine is rotten to the core and refuses to be denied attention or special praise from others. Obsessed with her complexion, she is rarely seen without a mirror at her side, and is prone to psychic-enhanced anxiety attacks if ever separated from one for too long.

Robbie Sonee - The mental defective. Robbie is youngest of Sonichu's children, and quite possibly the most troubled. He takes great pride in his Chandler heritage, and repeatedly attempts to follow in his forefather's footsteps, with little regard for personal safety or physical limitations. His hobbies include running, screeching and staring intently at electrical sockets.

Chandler clan:

Christian Weston Chandler -  A miserable tyrant with the heart of a child. Born to a wealthy family in the Charlottesville area, Chris was molded into the corrupt despot he is today through years of combined parental neglect and academic praise. He rules over much of Virginia with an iron fist, operating from his seat of power located within inner CWCville. Ruthless, egotistical and horribly immature, Chris commands the "Anchuent Powers" of the long-dead Cherokian Clan and uses them enforce his twisted world views.

Liquid Chris - A young man who bears a striking resemblance to Mayor Chandler. His dashing good looks and strong moral fiber have made him an easy target for the CWCville government...and a valuable asset to the Miscreants' network of control. Armed with a combat knife and "paper-thin" Sonichu Medallion, Liquid aspires to help those wronged by his boorish counterpart, while seeking clues about his true heritage.

Crystal - Mayor Chandler's fantasy woman, made flesh through Cherokian mysticism and genetic engineering. Forever bound to her creator via the Heart Torch, Crystal serves as an instrumental component in Chris' psyche; a physical manifestation of his hopes and dreams, as well as a vessel for his "human side."

Robert Chandler - The founder of CWCville and Christian's father. Bob rose to power in the late 1970's, after using his Cherokian influence to help unite various districts of Charlottesville and Ruckersville to form an independent city-state. Now an elderly man, he desires little more than to live out the rest of his years in peace. He remains completely oblivious to the state of his city, and the welfare of its citizens.

Barbara Chandler - Bob's devoted wife and mother of Christian. Thought by some to be the result of an unfortunate union between a wealthy Charlottesville heiress and a wild Pokemon, very little is actually known about CWCville's former First Lady. She is believed to be a descendant of Daniel Weston IV, a wealthy patron from the Greene County area who was said to have had dealings with Count Graduon.

Patti-Chan v2.0 - Mayor Chandler's faithful canine companion, given new life and form with stolen Metachu technology. She acts as Chris' private enforcer and dutifully protects her master's domain.

Chaotic Combo:

Magi-Chan Sonichu - Secretary of the interior, psychic advisor to Mayor Chandler and leader of the Chaotic Combo, Magi-Chan is the ultimate middle-man. His cool demeanor masks a troubled youth, paved with sexual deprivation and social anxiety, made worse by his own deteriorating mental state. Clever and calculating, but certainly unhinged, he is one of the driving forces behind Chandler's ambition and will stop at nothing to get what he wants.

Wild Sonichu - Tactical officer, and former leader of the Chaotic Combo. Wild was considered an outsider by many of his race before earning the admiration of Mayor Chandler.  A veritable loner, he spends much of his time meditating in the forested regions in the outskirts of town, beyond the turmoil and instability of the C-Ville Wasteland. Despite his laid-back attitude and alleged narcotic abuse, he is deeply devoted to his comrades and considers their safety a top priority.

Punchy Sonichu - The willful warrior-prince of Shinabe Dojo, and melee expert of the Chaotic Combo. Punchy prides himself in his love for battle, and is quick to charge head-on into any situation - no matter the risks. His fiery temper and fearlessness make him a valuable asset to the team, though he is easily provoked and can be manipulated by others.

Angelica Rosechu -  The withered voice of the Chaotic Combo. Former advocate of "GodJesus," Angelica was tasked with being the the group's spiritual advisor, where she strove to maintain stability among her comrades. Now disillusioned by Chris' constant manipulation of ideology as a means of control, she has since lost faith in her beliefs...as well as Mayor Chandler's ability to govern.

Bubbles Rosechu - Vicious deep-sea predator of the Combo. A girlish grin, a harpoon gun and a bloodied wetsuit are a few things that describe Bubbles. In spite of her childish nature, Bubbles is an artfully skilled tracker, and is best known for toying with her prey before going in to deliver the final blow. She is also known for making trophies out of her enemies' remains, incorporating them into exotic jewelry or other crafts.

Black Sonichu / Blake - Honorary member of the Chaotic Combo and traitor to the PVCC. Originally Team Rocket's attempt at duplicating C.H.U. Laboratories' research in chaos gene therapy, Black Sonichu led a number of successful operations for the resistance before being enamored with and eventually turned by Bubbles Rosechu. As a double-agent for the CWCville Government, Blake participated in a lengthy campaign that led to the dissolution of Team Rocket's CWCville branch, permanently crippling the PVCC.

Time Travelers:

Metal Sonichu II - An advanced version of Metal Sonichu who hails from an alternate future timeline. Having been graced with sentience by Count Graduon, he now wields the sorcerer's chaos powers and has returned to the present to save the PVCC from impending doom.

The Metachu - A race of small, biomechanical chu-like creatures created by the future Metal Sonichu. They aid their progenitor in protecting the PVCC from the forces of CWCville, acting as a sort of "hive mind."

Silverchu - An enigmatic young Chu with big dreams of changing the future. He and his girlfriend catapulted themselves back in time along with Metal Sonichu.

The Alliance:

Carson / "Mr. X" - A mysterious philanthropist who took control of the remnants of Team Rocket's CWCville Branch, following its defeat at the hands of Black Sonichu. Having allied his company with various gangs throughout outer CWCville, Carson now strives to seed civil unrest throughout Mayor Chandler's regime. The full extent of his goals are unknown.

Captain Will Gherkins / "ALPHA" - Carson's first lieutenant and personal bodyguard. A monster of a man, his savagery to his enemies is only matched by an undying loyalty to his comrades. Sporting a suit of weaponized F-42 Power Armor and a coat adorned with in energy-absorbing diodes, he heads the Alliance's legion of battle-ready Pickle Men and is rumored to conduct private sieges for Mr. X.

Silvana Graduon - The estranged "daughter" of Mary Lee Walsh and Count Graduon. A psychic prodigy, Silvana is as cunning as she is charming - combining powers of perception with an innate camouflage ability allows her to construct complex illusions, or simply disguise herself among foes. She works as an agent for the Alliance and reports directly to Mr. X.

Robert Simmon V / "Solidus Chris" - Janus-faced media mogul. Simmons is the director of FQX News, a member of the CWCville City Council and a personal friend of Mayor Chandler. He is also a former-intelligence agent and blade aficionado, previously involved with the Miscreants before losing himself in an accident. His unique mental conditioning allows him to operate for the Alliance undetected, even under Chandler's psychic surveillance.

Joshua Martinez - One of the three major crime bosses of outer CWCville and a key player in the Alliance. As a child, Martinez's family relocated to the Charlottesville area hoping to secure a fortune amidst the town's budding industrial sections. Joshua now aspires to follow his parents' example, amassing wealth and prosperity for himself by any means. He is considered a highly dangerous target by both the Miscreants and the PVCC, and has been subject to various assassination attempts in his quest for power.

Santiago Sonichu / "Santi Chu" - Martinez's right-hand man. Born and raised in the C-ville Wasteland, Santi spent the first years of his life sleeping in alleys and stealing from Soup Hotel dumpsters. An anarchist at heart, he fronts the gang's arms deals and smuggling operation.

Pickle Men - Abominable creatures used by the Alliance. The Pickle Men are a cheap, obedient and plentiful source of labor, and are quickly becoming very popular in small business operations in outer CWCville. Loyalists view them as an affront to the working class, and a threat to the town's stunted job market. Their masks conceal a terrible secret.

C.H.U. Laboratories:

Doctor Bill Schwartz - Former Team Rocket scientist and the creator of Black Sonichu. Dr. Schwartz's work in Chu biology can be traced back to formation of C.H.U. laboratories, where he worked alongside his sister and brother-in-law to perfect the Electric-Hedgehog genome. His mind now distorted through years of narcotic abuse, Bill has since been re-recruited by Mayor Chandler -- who provides the scientist with illicit substances in exchange for his services.

Doctor Anne Schwartz - Bill's sister and medical researcher within C.H.U. Laboratories. She disappeared nearly fourteen years ago, following an incident that resulted in the facility's immediate shutdown, the death of her husband, Nikolai, and a loss of all living specimens.

Doctor Nikolai Alexandervich Nortca / "XACTRON" - Former director of C.H.U. Laboratories, husband of Anne and mentor to Bill. He was commissioned by the CWCville Government to lead a top-secret research project that would result in the creation of the first Electric-Hedgehog Pokemon.

Arjen van Dierten - Former systems engineer for C.H.U. Laboratories. Arjen hails from Molvanîa - an impoverished, slavic nation notorious for its poor infrastructure. Today he serves as curator and chief archivist for the CWCville Library, while simultaneously operating as an agent for the Miscreants.

The Miscreants:

Clyde Cash / Gregg Mays - The charismatic leader of the Miscreants - A shadowy cabal that holds ties with both the CWCville government and the PVCC. Operating from a secret bunker beneath his mansion, Clyde and his "Inner Circle" work behind the scenes to support Chandler's regime, while actively conspiring against its expansion. The purpose of this is to help maintain a balance of power within the region and ensure stability of government, with minimal loss of life.

Bryan Bash - Clyde's second-in-command and communications director for the Miscreants. Bryan heads a network of agents and informants throughout the Charlottesville area, and often serves as their organization's acting leader when Clyde is away on business.

Jack Thaddeus - Miscreant tech specialist. In addition to holding all of Mary and Chandler's accounts, Thaddeus is the administrator of the Pokemon PC Storage system, and monitors all Trainer activity throughout the region.

Sarah Cash / "PandaHalo" - Miscreant Operative and former-sweetheart of Mayor Chandler. Abandoned in the face of certain death by her would-be lover, Sarah was rescued by Clyde Cash -- who treated her wounds and nursed to health. The two later married and started family in secret. Now an agent for the outfit, she possesses two of the only known prototype S-Chu Balls, experimental capsule devices used to catch Electric-Hedgehog Pokemon.

Blaze Bob Sonichu - One of Sarah's Electric-Hedgehog Pokemon. Tamed but never broken, Blazebob is a hot-blooded brawler who will let nothing stand in his way. He is fiercely protective of his mistress and would risk his life for her safety.

Chloe - Blaze Bob's fastidious feminine counterpart. A domesticated chu by all means, Chloe is the more reserved of Sarah's prized pair. Prefers to deal in deception more than open conflict, but is an equally skilled combatant when the occasion calls for it.

Max Milvana / "BlueSpike" - A troubled youth from the asylums of Molvanîa. He was smuggled into the United States by Arjen and modified to serve as an anti-chu contingent for the Miscreants.

4-Cent_Garbage.com:

Jason Kendrick Howell - The self-styled CEO of 4-Cent_Garbage.com and an agent of the Miscreants. A gentleman of leisure, Jason relocated to the C-ville Wasteland to track down one of his few surviving relatives. Now wanted for crimes against the state, Howell's web company acts as a front for Clyde's operations to help propagated business. He also has an affinity for experimental, antiquated Soviet technology.

Kathleen Nicole Wallace - Jason's youthful secretary and personal attendant. Despite her minor role, Kathleen is an invaluable asset to the company and is tasked with seeing to Jason's personal and psychological wellbeing.

Beel / "B33L" - Head Admin of 4-Cent_Garbage.com, and Jason's right-hand man. Beel is in charge of "Human resources", and an expert of high-caliber munitions. His massive, chiseled figure lays a shadow over all who oppose him. Beel's weapon of choice is "The Ban Hammer" - an industrial sledgehammer that is upheld for its ability to ban someone...from life.

Anons - 4-Cent's live-in employees, and their dedicated user base. A strict diet of REEB and tendies combined with an overexposure to various psychological stimulants have destroyed any traces of morality and individuality, allowing them to work more efficiently. Their attire consist of tattered white business shirts, faded trousers and green, eyeless balaclavas.

The PVCC:

Mary Lee Walsh / "Slaweel Ryam" - The leader and co-founder of the Private Villa of Corrupted Citizens. Former minister of education for the city of CWCville, Mary has led a protracted rebellion against Mayor Chandler's regime with her partner and mentor, Count Graduon. She is aided by the dissident Charlottesville Police Department ("Jerkops"), who act as the PVCC's peacekeepers and enforcers.

Wes Iseli - Stage illusionist turned resistance spy. Iseli is the last known living descendant of the Wasabi, an ancient Unovan household that waged war against Chandler's ancestors. He was recruited by Walsh and trained to use Anchuent sorcery.

Wilfred Boyde / "The Jerkhief" - Leader of the PVCC's contingent of Jerkops, and Mary's personal bodyguard. Having lost his wife and children to the cruelty of the C-ville Wasteland, Wilfred vows to protect those important to him and see justice delivered to the Chandler government.

Marcus Baggett - A veteran officer of the old Police Department. Though he shares rank with The Jerkhief, Baggett repeatedly refused commendation to fight alongside his men in the field.

Charlie Boyde / "B-Manajerk" - C.O. of the PVCC McV detachment, and the Jerkhief's younger brother. Prior to joining the PVCC he was a test pilot for a powered armor initiative for the C-Ville Police Department. The goal of this program was to create a specialized task force of inspired by Mayor Chandler's favorite Power Rangers.

Professor Kirby McDerby / "Merried Seinor Comic" or "MSC-Manajerk" - Former PVCC school professor and civil engineer. McDerby was a high-profile contractor during the founding years of CWCville, and enjoyed a strong friendship with Mayor Robert Chandler. Having lost much mobility in an industrial accident, this Manajerk has since relied on cybernetic augmentation to sustain his poorly-treated body.

Samuel Moore / "WM-Manajerk" - Resident PVCC commander of the Mal-Wart detachment. Stricken with an illness that robbed him of all motor functions, this veteran soldier was a presented with a mechanical body that allows his presence to tower on the battlefield. Even in death, he serves.

Scott Palazzo / "FS-Manajerk" - Shopping Center dispatch and expert in the occult. Mr. Palazzo is one of few Manajerks to openly operate in Chandler territory, maintaining his cover as fortune teller and regional historian.
